Our Technology Evolution
First experiments
This was our first prototype, used for software and hardware development and for testing in the laboratory and small plots.
Data acquisition and machine learning
Our second prototype was used to capture data in the fields. The first pilot clients were farmers of tomatoes and sugar beet.
Adaption to different use cases
The system can be pulled by a tractor, making the system implementation very simple. Once activated the farmer simply drives over the field and the laser system handles the weeding process automatically.
Autonomous robot fleet
In the future a fully autonomous robot will drive over the field by its own. The robot is connected online to its user via its transport and docking & charging station.
